STEMI Interventional Cardiologist PRN On-Call Coverage

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist with STEMI experience to provide 24-hour on-call coverage on a strictly PRN basis. This opportunity offers flexible weekday and weekend coverage based on the facility's staffing needs.

PRN coverage only
Weekday and weekend shifts available
Schedule determined by facility coverage needs

Responsibilities
Provide STEMI call coverage
Respond to Emergency Department and inpatient consultation requests
Perform STEMI interventions/procedures when required
Take general cardiology calls and consults from nursing staff
Assist with patient management questions and clinical decision-making
Report to the hospital for STEMI procedures as needed

Patient Volume
Daily consult volume varies based on census and acuity
Typical range: 5–15+ consults per day

Requirements
Board Certified (BC) in Interventional Cardiology REQUIRED
Fellowship-trained Interventional Cardiologist
Demonstrated STEMI experience REQUIRED
Ability to provide both STEMI coverage and general cardiology consultative support
Strong communication and collaboration skills
