Job description

We are seeking a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist for ongoing locum tenens coverage at an acute care hospital in Northern California. Multiple coverage blocks are available throughout 2027, offering flexibility for physicians interested in periodic assignments.

Duration: Ongoing coverage needs
Schedule: 24-hour beeper call, 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
Practice Setting: Inpatient, acute care hospital
Trauma Level: III
Patient Volume: Approximately 10–15 patients per shift
EMR: Epic

Clinical Responsibilities

Approximately 75% interventional cardiology and 25% noninvasive cardiology
Inpatient cardiology coverage and consultations
Additional procedural expectations to be reviewed during the clinical discussion

March: March 5–8 and March 12–13
July/August: July 30–August 6
August: August 13–20
December: December 24 onward
