Interventional Cardiologist Needed In Colorado

Job description

Start Date: January 26, 2026
Contract Length: 6 months
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (unpaid lunch between cases)
Call: Possible night/weekend call; to be discussed during interview

Night Call: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM (approx. 25% callback rate)

Weekend Call: Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM (approx. 25% callback rate)

Clinical Details

• Setting: Hospital
• Patient Volume: Average of 2–4 cases per day
• Patient Population: Adults (18+)
• Support Staff: Nursing staff, techs, APP
• Special Procedures/Areas:
 – Right & left heart cath
 – Coronary angiogram & interventions
 – Arm work
 – Lower extremity work
 – Chronic total occlusions and high-risk PCI with Impella (optional based on skillset)
• Excluded Procedures: Veins
• EMR: Epic
• Hospital Bed Size: 550
