New Locums Opportunity in Georgia - Interventional Cardiologist

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible (within 5 years of fellowship) Interventional/Invasive Cardiologist for ongoing locums coverage with a strong opportunity for a permanent position.

Assignment Details
* 24-hour call shifts (7 AM – 7 AM)
* Up to 6 days per month
* Minimum 6-month assignment
* Daily rate includes 8 clinical hours + OT after 8 hours
* Hotel provided while on call

Responsibilities
* Inpatient consults & ED STEMI call
* Respond to STEMI and cardiac emergencies
* Perform diagnostic caths & low-risk PCI
* Interpret Echoes & Stress Tests
* Perform TEEs
* Follow-up consults & code STEMI response

Typical Volume
* 10–12 consults/day
* 3–5 cardiac caths/day
* 3–5 stress tests/day
* 10 echo reads/day
* STEMI volume varies (~10/month)

Support & EMR
* Dedicated NP, RNs, and Cath Lab staff
* EMR: Meditech, eCW, PK

Requirements
* Active Georgia Medical License (required)
* BC or BE (within 5 years of fellowship)
* Interventional/Invasive Cardiology
