Seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiologist for an urgent locum tenens opportunity in Georgia! Weekend-focused coverage supporting an established STEMI program with dedicated cath lab and nursing support.

Opportunity Highlights:

Schedule: 24-hour coverage, 7 AM–7 AM

Coverage: Weekend blocks preferred, typically Friday 7 AM–Monday 7 AM

Upcoming Needs: November 13–16 and November 26–30

Duration: Ongoing weekend coverage opportunities

Setting: Acute-care hospital with STEMI program

Clinical Scope: STEMI call, interventional cardiology consults, and inpatient rounding

Procedures: Coronary interventions, diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, and TEE

Imaging: Echocardiogram, stress test, and nuclear study interpretation

Support: Registered nurses and dedicated cath lab team

Requirements: Interventional Cardiology experience, Advanced Life Support certification, and active Georgia licensure

Experience: Recent acute-care experience with required case logs demonstrating 50+ coronary interventions in the past 12 months and 50+ diagnostic cardiac catheterizations annually
