Details

Inpatient only

Patient volume varies: approximately 3 consults per day and 2 procedures per day

Trauma level: II

Bed count: 18 ICU beds, 18 telemetry beds, and 10 CMU beds

APP support:

Weekdays: 1–2 APPs during the day

Weekends: 1 APP for 5 hours/day


Procedures & Skills Required:

Interventional cardiology procedures required

TEE’s highly preferred

Balloon pumps, coronary stents, IVUS, and IFR are important

STEMI volumes vary; average of 3 STEMI activations per week (based on previous data)

Requirements

Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology and either Internal Medicine or Cardiovascular Disease – [REQUIRED] (no exceptions)


Active ID license or active IMLC (LOQ at time of name clear) – [REQUIRED]


Clean malpractice and background – [REQUIRED]


Local candidates (no flights) – [HIGHLY PREFERRED]

Must have COVID vaccination to work at the facility – [REQUIRED] (verbal confirmation at time of name clear)


Must be able to cover most/all of the open dates – [REQUIRED]
