Department: Interventional Cardiology

Cath Labs: 2

Additional Units: Peripheral vascular capabilities; cath prep and recovery unit

Beds: 10-bed Cardiac Medical Unit

Support Staff:

4 Interventional Cardiologists

3 General/Non-Invasive Cardiologists

Multiple Nurse Practitioners

Procedures Include:

Diagnostic Adult Cardiac Catheterization

Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI)

Balloon Angioplasty

Coronary & Peripheral Vascular Stent Placement

Permanent Pacemakers

Coronary Thrombectomy

Atherectomy

Impella

TEE

Peripheral Vascular Angiography and Interventions

IVUS

Intracardiac Ultrasound

Cardioversion

Tilt Table Studies

Requirements

Licensure:

IMLC or active Idaho license — required

Certifications:

Interventional Cardiology — required

PLUS one of the following (no exceptions):

Internal Medicine certification

Cardiovascular Disease certification

Experience: Must be fully credentialed and capable of performing listed procedures
