Cardiology Locums – Illinois | Epic | Travel Covered

Job description

Start Date: ASAP once credentialed
Contract Length: 3 months (ongoing need through end of 2026)

Schedule
Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Call: 1 night/week + 1 weekend/month (negotiable)
Note: Must be able to cover scheduled shifts + call (call-only candidates not considered)

Work Details
Volume: Avg 15 patients/day weekdays; up to 25/day weekends
Patient Population: All ages
Scope: Hospital rounding + temp pacers, cardiac caths, coronary interventions, STEMIs, EKGs, and echos
EMR: Epic (preferred)
Skills: TEE not required, but a plus
Travel: Travel + lodging covered

Requirements
Board Status: BC or BE
License: Active Illinois license required (IMLC candidates considered)
DEA: Required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS

Experience: 1+ year (no new grads)
Credentialing: ~90 days
