Interventional Cardiology Opportunity – Illinois

Start Date: As soon as credentialed

Assignment Length: 3 months with ongoing extension potential

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Call: Approximately 1 night per week and 1 weekend per month (negotiable)

Opportunity Highlights:

• Ongoing need through the end of 2026 with strong preference for full-time coverage

• Hospital-based practice with weekday rounding and interventional cardiology procedures

• Manageable patient volume averaging 15 patients per weekday and up to 25 on weekends

• Diverse procedural mix including cardiac catheterizations, coronary interventions, STEMI call, temporary pacemakers, TEEs, EKGs, and echocardiograms

• Epic EMR

• Travel and lodging provided

• IMLC candidates encouraged to apply

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology or Cardiology

• Active Illinois and Missouri licenses preferred (IMLC candidates will be considered)

• DEA required

• BLS and ACLS required

• Minimum of 1 year of experience

• Credentialing timeframe: Approximately 90 days
