Interventional Cardiologist Needed in IL | 12/18-12/22 - 24hr Call for STEMI | Competitive Pay

Shift Dates – Dec 18-22
Shift Times: Onsite 0700-1600 24 hours coverage for STEMIs
Call: Yes
For Clinic positions any hospital rounding coverage required? This is not a clinic position, however rounding on inpatients is part of this coverage.

Support Staff: This position will be working with RNs in the cath lab. There are 2 other employed interventional cardiologists available to assist if needed, however this position is not for clinic

Patient Volume & Age Group: 3-5 inpatient consults per day plus any cases derived from those consults. In addition they will read Echos and EKGs for unassigned patients and take the STEMI call.

Required Skills / Procedures / Case Types: Rt and lt heart cath including ventriculography & angiography, temporary pace maker, PTCA, DCA, TEC atherectomy, rotational atherectomy, angiojet thrombectomy, intravascular ultrasound, coronary stents, endomyocardial bx, peripheral angiogram, peripheral artherectomy, peripheral stent, peripheral vessel angioplasty, transesophageal echo, IVUS, Impella, Integrated ultrasound
