Full Time Interventional Cardiologist needed in Iowa

We are seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist for a full-time locum tenens assignment in Iowa. This opportunity offers a balanced schedule of clinic, inpatient consults, and procedural work—ideal for providers looking to stay clinically active across a broad scope of cardiology.

🗓️ Schedule Details:
Clinic Hours:

Monday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Call Coverage:

Weekdays: 8:00 AM – 8:00 AM (24-hour)

Weekends: 8:00 AM Friday – 8:00 AM Monday (72-hour)

📌 Assignment Details:
Start Date: Upon completion of credentialing

Contract Length: Ongoing full-time

Credentialing Timeframe: ~60 days

License: Active IA license preferred; will consider candidates via IMLC

🔍 Clinical Scope:
Clinic Volume: 12–15 patients/day

Inpatient Rounding/Consults: 5–10/day

Call Backs:

Weekdays: Typically 4–6 hours for interventional

Weekends: Variable; includes interventional and general call coverage

⚙️ Procedures:
Diagnostic Cath, Angioplasty, Stenting

Stress Echo, Nuclear Stress, TEE, Cardioversions

Reading Echoes, Holters, Event Monitors

Practice Setting: Hospital-based with both inpatient and outpatient coverage
