Cardiologist (Interventional or General) – Locum Tenens
We are seeking an experienced Interventional or General Cardiologist to provide clinic, inpatient rounding, and call coverage. This role offers steady monthly scheduling and a broad procedural mix in a collaborative environment.

Position Highlights
Must be available 2–3 weeks per month

Mandatory gratis on 24‑hour call (0–4 hrs)

Strict limit: No more than 5 hours of OT per week

Mix of clinic, inpatient rounding, and call

EMR: Epic

Licensing: IA license or IMLC accepted

Credentialing: ~60 days

Schedule
Clinic:

Mon–Thu: 9:00 AM–3:30 PM

Fri: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM

Call:

Weekdays: 8:00 AM–8:00 AM

Weekends: Fri 8:00 AM–Mon 8:00 AM

Call‑backs vary; interventional typically 4–6 hrs

Includes rotation into general call

Patient Volumes
Clinic: 12–15 patients/day

Inpatient rounding/consults: 5–10/day

Procedures
Diagnostic cath

Angioplasty & stenting

Stress echo & nuclear stress

Echo interpretation, Holters, event monitors

TEE

Cardioversions

Requirements
BE/BC Cardiologist

Active IA license or IMLC eligibility

DEA required

Ability to meet OT and gratis requirements

Comfortable with both interventional and general cardiology duties
