Job description

Interventional Cardiology Opportunity – IA
Coverage Type: Locums
Schedule Requirement: Must be available 2–3 weeks per month
Call: Mandatory 24-hour call with gratis coverage (0–4 hours)
Overtime: Providers may not exceed 5 hours of OT per week (strict requirement)

Practice Details:
· Clinic volume: 12–15 patients per day
· Inpatient rounding/consults: 5–10 per day
· Call-back hours: Varies; typically 4–6 hours for interventional cases
· Providers may also cover general cardiology call on select days
· EMR: Epic

Cases & Procedures:
· Diagnostic cardiac catheterizations
· Angioplasty and stenting
· Stress echo and nuclear stress testing
· Reading echocardiograms
· Holters and event monitors
· TEEs and cardioversions

Licensing & Credentialing:
· Iowa license not required at submission
· Will consider candidates applying for IA license or holding IMLC
· Estimated credentialing timeframe: ~60 days
