Interventional Cardiologist needed in Iowa

Job description

Interventional Cardiology opportunity available in Iowa
Assignment Length: Ongoing
Schedule: Call coverage only; 24-hour call shifts
Additional Details:

Must have an active Iowa license in hand
Must commit to at least one holiday block to be considered
The client would ideally like coverage for all three holiday blocks but will consider one block, including Christmas week
Mandatory gratis on 24-hour call for the first 0–4 hours
Providers may not work more than 5 hours of overtime per week; this is a strict requirement
Clinic census is approximately 12–15 patients per day
Inpatient rounding and consultation volume is approximately 5–10 patients per day
Call-back volume varies; interventional coverage may require approximately 4–6 hours
General cardiology call coverage may also be required on some days
Procedures include diagnostic catheterization, angioplasty, stenting, stress echocardiograms, nuclear stress testing, echocardiogram interpretation, Holter and event monitor interpretation, TEEs, and cardioversions
EMR: EPIC

Licensure: Active Iowa license required; IMLC accepted
Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 60 days
