Schedule and Coverage Dates:

Clinic and Call:

November 2, 2026 at 8:00 a.m.–November 16, 2026 at 8:00 a.m.
November 27, 2026 at 8:00 a.m.–December 11, 2026 at 8:00 a.m.
December 28, 2026 at 8:00 a.m.–January 11, 2027 at 8:00 a.m.

Call Only:

October 30, 2026 at 8:00 a.m.–November 2, 2026 at 8:00 a.m.
November 26, 2026 at 7:00 a.m.–November 27, 2026 at 8:00 a.m.
December 24, 2026 at 8:00 a.m.–December 28, 2026 at 8:00 a.m.

Providers interested in covering clinic and call during some of the call-only dates may also be accommodated, excluding the actual holidays.

Additional Details:

Clinic volume: 12–15 patients per day
Inpatient rounding and consults: 5–10 patients per day
Call-back volume varies; approximately 4–6 hours may be required for interventional cases
General cardiology call may also be required on some days
EMR: Epic
Procedures include diagnostic catheterizations, angioplasty, stenting, stress echocardiograms, nuclear stress tests, echocardiogram interpretation, Holter and event monitor interpretation, TEEs, and cardioversions
Iowa licensing candidates will be considered
IMLC accepted
Credentialing timeframe: approximately 60 days
