New Locums Opportunity in MN - Interventional Cardiology

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist for a part-time locum opportunity in a hospital-based inpatient setting.

Assignment Details:
-Start Date: As soon as credentialed
-Contract Length: 3 months with ongoing potential
-Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
-Shift Length: 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
-Call: Weeknight call from 5:00 PM - 8:30 AM and 24-hour weekend call
-Coverage: Part-time

Practice Details:
-Hospital-based inpatient practice
-Team includes 7 physicians and 6 NP/PA providers
-Average of 5 patients per day
-Adult and geriatric patient population
-EMR: Epic

Procedures:
-Invasive and interventional coronary catheterizations
-Right heart catheterizations (Swan-Ganz placement)
-Temporary pacemaker placements
-Intra-aortic balloon pump placements
-STEMI and other emergency cases while on call

Requirements:
-Board Certified in General Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology (ABIM)
-Interventional Cardiology Fellowship required
-1-3+ years of experience
-Active Minnesota medical license required
-ACLS and BLS certifications required

Credentialing timeframe: 45-60 days
