Interventional Cardiologist Needed in Mississippi – November Coverage with Call

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist for short-term locum coverage in Mississippi. This is an inpatient role with scheduled clinical hours plus call. The physician will be supported by a full team and work in a Level 3 Trauma facility with a 30-bed department.

Assignment Details:

Start Date: November 27, 2025

End Date: December 1, 2025

Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours + call

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Standard 8-hour days)

Patients per shift: ~20

Support Staff: Yes

EMR: Not specified

Practice Setting: Inpatient

Credentialing Timeframe: ~15 days with active IMLC

Requirements:

Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology

Active Mississippi License or IMLC accepted

Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology required

Certifications: ACLS, BLS

Experience: Minimum 1 year post-fellowship
