Overview

Aya Locums is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist for a hospital-based practice providing inpatient cardiology, STEMI coverage, and interventional procedures. This opportunity combines weekday clinical responsibilities with a manageable call schedule and ongoing coverage needs through the end of the year.

Schedule
Monday–Friday
8:00 AM–4:30 PM
One weeknight STEMI call each week
One weekend call each month (negotiable)
Full-time preferred
PRN coverage considered
Practice Details
Hospital-based practice
Approximately 15 patients/day during the week
Up to 25 patients/day on weekends
Epic EMR
Clinical Responsibilities
Hospital rounding
STEMI coverage
Cardiac catheterization
Coronary interventions
Temporary pacemaker placement
TEEs
Echocardiograms
EKG interpretation
Requirements
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology or Nuclear Cardiology
Active Illinois and Missouri medical licenses (or IMLC candidate)
DEA
ACLS
BLS
Minimum one year of experience

Credentialing
Approximately 90 days
