Location: Farmington, Missouri
Assignment Length: 3 months with potential to extend; coverage is anticipated for up to one year
Schedule: Approximately 6 days per month plus vacation coverage
EMR: Epic
Facility: 110-bed hospital

Opportunity Details:
A Missouri hospital is seeking an experienced interventional cardiologist for ongoing locum tenens coverage. The assignment includes 24-hour call, inpatient rounding, cardiac reads, cath procedures, and weekend coverage.

24-hour call shifts: 7:00 AM–7:00 AM
Approximately 4–5 hours of rounding per day
Minimal callback volume
Average of 18–20 patients per day
Patient population ages 40–90
Vacation and weekend call coverage needed

Procedures and Responsibilities:
Hospital rounding
Cardiac reads
Cardiac catheterization procedures
Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs)
Pacemaker procedures
General cardiology services

Support Staff: One interventional cardiologist, One general cardiologist, One PA, One NP

Requirements:
Board Certified
Active Missouri medical license; IMLC candidates will be considered
DEA required
BLS and ACLS required
Comfortable providing interventional cardiology services and 24-hour call coverage

Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 45–60 days
