Cardiology Opportunity in Greensboro, North Carolina

Job description

Position Highlights:
•Start Date: 11/16/2026
•Contract Length: 52 Weeks
•Shift Details: Days/Nights/Weekend – act as 2nd Call
•Schedule: Minimum 1 week per month, and 1 weekend per month (as needed for scheduling). Does not need to be consecutive shifts.
• Monday – Thursday: 8P – 6A (10 hours)
• Friday: 8P – 7A (11 hours)
• Saturday: 5P – 7A (14 hours)
• Sunday: 5P – 6A (13 hours)

Work Details:
•Patient population/age: Adult
•Department description: Cardiology
•EMR: EPIC
•Skills required: Consults upon request and E&M services only, no procedures. Read Echo and nuclear studies performed in the hospital. Provides care for patients admitted under Cone Health Heartcare. Required to keep a manual log of all charges.

Requirements:
•Board Certification: Board Certification in Cardiology
•License required: Yes, state of NC
• DEA: Yes
•Certifications required: ACLS & BLS
•Minimum experience required: 1 – 2 years
•Credentialing Timeframe: 60 – 90 days
