Locum Tenens Interventional Cardiologist needed in Oregon

Job description

Specialty: Interventional Cardiology
Location: Oregon
Start Date: Mid-December 2025
Duration: Ongoing – 2 full-time locum providers needed
Credentialing: Fast-track available (30–60 days)

Assignment Details

Coverage Reason: Gap in coverage

Setting: Clinic (within main hospital) + hospital privileges

Patient Population: Adult/Geriatric

Schedule: Clinic + rounding + admissions

Clinic: ~15 patients/day

Rounding: 10–20 patients/day

Call: May work solo at times, but support available from General, Interventional, and EP cardiologists

EMR: Epic

Procedures Required

Cardiac catheterization

Interventional cardiology procedures

Direct current cardioversions (DCCVs)

Temporary pacemaker placement (as needed)

Requirements

Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology

Active Oregon medical license preferred (will consider reactivation if strong fit)

Eligible for both clinic and hospital privileges

Clean file strongly preferred
