Interventional Cardiologist Needed in OR

Job description

I have a client in Springfield, OR, who's seeking 2 experienced Interventional Cardiologists for locum coverage. Here are the job details.

Start: December

26-week assignment with the option to extend

8hr shift in the Cath Lab and Clinic (they will also be on call for the hospital while working cath lab and clinic) and then evening call from 5p-7a

Weekend Call is Friday 5p-Monday 7a 1:3

CALL Requirement- up to 1:3 interventional cardiologist weekly schedule: 1-2 Cath Lab days, 2-3 Clinic days, back up night call 1-2 nights/week.

Fast Track Credentials available 30-60 days

WHY Open? Gap in Coverage

LOCATION-Working at Clinic located in main hospital & at the hospital location

PRIVILEGES NEEDED- Both hospital & Clinic

Rounding and Admissions for STEMIS and Clinic Patients

Patient Population- Adult/Geriatric

Average patients per day ~15 clinic patients/day, Rounding 10-20 patients/day

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
Cardiac Cath
Interventional Cardiology
DCCVs
Temp pacemaker as needed

SOLO PROVIDER?- Sometimes yes but will also have the support from General, Interventional and Cardiac Electrophysiology

LICENSED?- Yes we heavily prefer active OR license given our target start date but can accept those who just need to reactivate IF they are a good fit

EMR- EPIC
