Interventional Cardiology Locums – Oregon | December Start

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Cardiologist to provide locums coverage in Oregon. This role offers a mix of clinic and hospital work with a strong support team and fast-track credentialing.

Position Highlights

December Start: Targeting mid-December 2025 with fast-track credentialing (30–60 days).

Diverse Practice: Split between clinic and hospital, rounding/admissions for STEMIs and clinic patients, ~15 clinic patients/day, and 10–20 inpatient rounds/day.

Advanced Procedures: Cardiac cath, interventional cardiology, DCCVs, and temporary pacemaker placement as needed.

Position Details

Reason for Need: Gap in coverage

Coverage: Hospital & clinic privileges required

Setting: Clinic located in the main hospital + inpatient service

Patient Population: Adult/geriatric

Support: Work alongside general, interventional, and cardiac electrophysiology colleagues (sometimes solo coverage required)

Procedures: Cardiac cath, interventional cardiology, DCCVs, temporary pacemakers

EMR: Epic

Requirements

Board Certification: Required in Interventional Cardiology

Licensure: Active Oregon license strongly preferred (will consider reactivation for the right candidate)

Experience: Prior interventional cardiology experience required

Credentialing: 30–60 days (fast-track available)
