Schedule: Approximately 2 weeks per month
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient
EMR: Epic

Position Overview

Seeking a Board-Certified Cardiac Electrophysiologist for locum tenens coverage in Springfield, Oregon. The role combines outpatient clinic care, inpatient rounding, pacemaker implantation, and weekend call coverage.

Schedule & Responsibilities
Weekday clinic shifts: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, typically 3–4 days.
Weekend coverage 1–2 times per month, including inpatient rounding and pacemaker implantation from 7:00 AM–5:00 PM.
Overnight telephone call from 5:00 PM–7:00 AM.
DCCV cardioversion and inpatient admissions as needed.
Additional EP lab days may be available.
Requirements
MD/DO with Board Certification in Cardiac Electrophysiology.
Active Oregon license or willingness to obtain one.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Recent clinical experience and case logs meeting hospital privilege requirements, including 30 EP cases within the previous 24 months.
Epic experience preferred.

Additional Requirements: Flu vaccination required, subject to permitted medical or religious exemptions. COVID-19 vaccination is not required.
