Facility in Central PA seeking Interventional Cardiology locums coverage Rates: $4250/24 hour, all inclusive. Travel is covered separately. Opportunity Highlights Flexible Schedule: We're looking for a provider to cover a minimum of 7 days per month, with the option for more shifts if available. Comprehensive Responsibilities: Your day will include outpatient and inpatient caths, STEMI coverage, and inpatient rounding. The 24-hour call coverage is for the 7 days you work. Supportive Team: Work alongside an NP during daylight hours for assistance with orders and other tasks. During weekends, an APP will be available to help with discharges for IC/NIC/EP patients. EMR Systems: Utilize both Epic and Cerner for charting and patient management. Quick Privileging: The estimated time to secure full privileges is only 30 days. Responsibilities Provide coverage for the Cath Lab from 8 AM to 5 PM, handling outpatient and inpatient caths and STEMI coverage. Be available for in-house call from 5 PM to 8 AM, with a 30-minute response time. Conduct inpatient rounding and manage an average of 2 admissions while on call (primarily STEMI patients). Collaborate with the NP and APP support staff to ensure seamless patient care. Requirements Education: MD or DO. Board Status: Board Certified. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience. Licensure: An active Pennsylvania State License is highly preferred and required to apply. Certifications: ACLS, DEA, and CSR licenses are required. Start Date Estimated start date: October 1, 2025.
