Job description

Aya Locums is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist for a locum assignment in South Central Pennsylvania.

Assignment Details

• Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call
• Date Range: Sept 4, 2026 – Dec 11, 2026 (intermittent block coverage dates listed below)
• Schedule:

M–F 7a–4p (clinic, consults, inpatient rounding, procedures)
STEMI call: M–F 4p–7a
Weekend STEMI call: 7a–7a
• Call Expectation: ~3 weeks/month coverage
• EMR: Epic
• Patient Volume: ~15 consults/day + ~3 procedures/day
• Procedures: Caths, TEEs, echocardiography reads, cardiac windows

Requirements

• Board Certification: Must be truly board eligible or board certified
• License Required: Active PA license or IMLC LOQ in hand
• DEA: Required
• Experience: Interventional cardiology experience required
• Must be comfortable with full inpatient, outpatient, and procedural cardiology coverage including STEMI call responsibilities
