Interventional Cardiology STEMI Call in Pennsylvania | Recurring Weekend Coverage

Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist for hospital-based call coverage in Pennsylvania. The immediate need is November 19-26, with 24-hour call coverage throughout the block. Beginning in 2027, there is also an ongoing need for approximately one weekend per month, generally running Thursday at 4:00 p.m. through Monday at 7:00 a.m.

This is true Interventional Cardiology coverage with STEMI call. The physician must be comfortable performing both left and right heart catheterization and responding to acute STEMI presentations while on call. The client is requiring ABIM Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology and at least two years of Interventional Cardiology experience.

The recurring schedule may be especially attractive to a physician who wants to maintain an existing practice while adding predictable locums coverage one weekend at a time. There is also potential to establish an ongoing relationship rather than completing a single isolated rotation.

Pennsylvania licensure will be required for the assignment, but IMLC candidates can be considered. Credentialing timing, support staff, patient volume and EMR details are still being finalized and can be discussed as additional information becomes available.
