Job description

We are seeking a Locum Tenens Physician in Gettysburg, PA.

Shift:
Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
1-hour lunch required Monday–Friday
Night beeper/STEMI call: 4:00 PM–7:00 AM
Weekend STEMI call: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Scheduled + on-call coverage required
Approximately 3 weeks of call coverage per month

Start Date: November 9, 2026
End Date: December 2026

Inpatient and outpatient cardiology
Cardiac catheterization services
Acute Care Hospital

Responsibilities:
Hospital cardiology consultations
Inpatient and outpatient cardiac catheterization procedures
STEMI call coverage
TEE procedures
Echocardiography interpretation
Cardiac window procedures
Average of 15 consults per day
Average of 3 procedures per day

Required Procedures:
Cardiac catheterization
TEE
Echocardiography
Cardiac windows

EMR System: EPIC
Days Per Month: Approximately 3 weeks of call coverage per month
On-Call/Weekends:
Night STEMI call: 4:00 PM–7:00 AM
Weekend STEMI call: 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Hospital call required
Approximately 3 weeks of call per month

Requirements:
Board Certified or at least Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC LOQ in hand
DEA required
CV
Provider questionnaire
NPDB self-query within 6 months

• Interventional Cardiology coverage combining hospital consultations, cardiac procedures, and STEMI call.
• Broad procedural scope including caths, TEEs, echo reads, and cardiac windows.
• Established hospital practice with approximately 15 consults and 3 procedures per day.
