Interventional Cardiologist Locums | Utah | Dual Hospital Coverage

Job description

We are seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist to provide inpatient call coverage across in Utah. This position offers an immediate start with ongoing coverage and requires a provider experienced in both interventional procedures and general cardiology.

Assignment Details:
- Start Date: December 15, 2025
- End Date: December 31, 2025 (with option to extend)
- Schedule: 24-hour call, 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
- Coverage Type: Inpatient, STEMI, and general cardiology consult call
- Credentialing Timeframe: ASAP (dual hospital privileging required)

Facility & Practice Overview:
- Setting: Inpatient

Responsibilities:
- Manage all adult interventional cardiology cases
- Perform and interpret TEEs, Echos, and EKGs
- Provide daily rounding on assigned inpatients
- 24/7 STEMI and general cardiology consult coverage

Requirements:
- Board Certification: Interventional Cardiology (American Board of Cardiology)
- Licensure: Active Utah medical license
- DEA: Active Utah DEA required
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS preferred
- Experience: Must be fully competent in adult interventional procedures
