Interventional Cardiology Needed in UT - 24hr Call Needed

This assignment is call-only and requires providers to cover:

24/7 Interventional Cardiology call
Primary STEMI call
Emergency Department call coverage

Please do not submit candidates who cannot work the requested dates.

Practice Details
EMR: Epic, Meditech, Merge MUSE
Average Daily Patient Volume: 12
Support Staff
Dedicated 3-person 24/7 call team
Cath lab staffing:
Two labs operational Monday–Wednesday
One lab operational Thursday–Friday
Required Skills & Procedures

Candidates must be experienced in:

Interventional Cardiology
Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE)
Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)

Responsibilities include:

General and interventional cardiology consultations
Follow-up inpatient cardiology care
Reading ECGs
Reading transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE)
Performing TEEs
Performing cardiac stress testing
Cardiac catheterizations
Coronary interventions (PCI)
Temporary pacemaker placement
Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) management
Electrical cardioversions
