𝐉𝐨𝐛 𝐓𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞:
Locum Physician – Interventional Cardiology

𝐏𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲:
We are seeking a Locum Interventional Cardiologist to provide inpatient and on-call coverage. The physician will manage complex cardiac cases, perform interventional procedures, and collaborate with the hospital team to ensure high-quality cardiac care. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced, board-certified physician capable of working independently.

𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠:
- Inpatient
- On-call coverage

𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞:
- 24-hour on-call shifts
- Preferably Friday 8:00 AM – Monday 8:00 AM
- Weekend coverage required

𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐏𝐨𝐩𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
- Adult to geriatric patients

𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬:
- Provide interventional cardiology services during on-call coverage
- Manage emergent and acute cardiac cases
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Collaborate with hospital staff and ancillary teams
- No supervision of APPs required

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐬:
- Heart Catheterization
- Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)
- Coronary Angioplasty & Balloon Angioplasty
- Coronary Angiograms
- Carotid Artery Stenting
- Atherectomy
- Embolic Protection procedures

𝐄𝐌𝐑:
- EPIC

𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
- Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology – 𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐃
- Active Virginia License & DEA – 𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐃 (no exceptions)
- BLS & ACLS – 𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐃
- Fellowship Trained – Highly Preferred
- NPDB Self-Query (dated within 30 days) – 𝐑𝐄𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐑𝐄𝐃
