Locum | Physician | Interventional Cardiology | Mechanicsville, VA | Current Dates Sept 8 to 11

Healthcare Facility: Acute Care Hospital
Start Date: September 8, 2026 at 7:00 AM
End Date: September 11, 2026 at 5:00 PM
Rate: Open & Negotiable
Shift: Weekdays onsite 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; weekday overnight call 5:00 PM–7:00 AM; weekend call Saturday 7:00 AM–Monday 7:00 AM

Position Details:
Patient Population: Adult and geriatric
Setting: Inpatient / Call
Responsibilities: Inpatient interventional cardiology coverage, potential rounding, weekday onsite coverage, and STEMI/unassigned call coverage
Required Procedures: Balloon angioplasty, coronary angioplasty, PCI, heart catheterization, coronary angiograms, embolic protection, carotid artery stenting, atherectomy, and medical management of vascular disease
EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff: Other interventional cardiologists will be present during coverage; locum will not supervise other healthcare providers
Days Per Month: As needed based on coverage
On-Call/Weekends: Yes — weekday overnight call and weekend call required

Requirements:
Board Certified
BLS/ACLS
Active Virginia state license
Clean malpractice
Self-Query NPDB report pulled within 30 days
