Interventional Cardiology Locum Opportunity – Wisconsin

Interventional Cardiology Opportunity – WI
Start Date: February 23, 2026
Contract Length: 3 months (with potential to extend)
Coverage Type: Locums

Schedule & Call:
· Cath lab coverage Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
· Weeknight call: 5:00 PM – 7:00 AM
· Weekend call: 24-hour call Saturday & Sunday (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)
· Call ratio: 1:2–3

Practice Setting:
· Hospital-based
· EMR: Epic

Work Details:
· Support staff: Team of 7 MDs and 3 APPs
· Coverage is to fill gaps in the schedule (full-time hours not guaranteed)
· Providers with specific availability should include it at submission
· Average volume: ~3 cath procedures per day
· Patient population: Adult–Geriatric

Procedures & Skills Required:
· Invasive and interventional coronary cath procedures
· Right heart catheterizations (Swan-Ganz placement)
· Temporary pacemaker placements
· Intra-aortic balloon pump placements

Travel & Lodging:
· Travel and lodging covered by client

Requirements:
· Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology (ABIM; General Cardiology + Interventional fellowship required)
· Active Wisconsin license required (IMLC not being considered at this time)
· DEA required
· BLS & ACLS required
· Minimum of 1 year experience

Credentialing:
· Estimated timeframe: 45–60 days
