Interventional Cardiology Opportunity in La Crosse, Wisconsin

Job description

Position Highlights:
•Start Date: As soon as credentialed
•Contract Length: 3 months, ongoing
•Shift Details: Monday-Friday, 8a-5p, weeknight call, weekend call. Call ratio 1:2-3
•Schedule: Inpatient hospital work and on-call required

Work Details:
•Support Staff: Team consists of 7 MDs and 3 NP/PAs, Hospital nursing staff
• Amount of Coverage Needed per Month: Need to fill the position of 1 FTE. Could be 1 FT or 2 consistent PT providers.
•Patients per day: 3
•Patient Population/Age: Adult-geriatric
•Department Description: Cath lab procedures (invasive & interventional coronary cath procedures), right heart catheterizations (Swan-Ganz placement), temporary pacemaker placements, intra-aortic balloon pump placement
•EMR: Epic
•Skills Required: Interventional cardiology- should also have experience with STEMI procedures

• Hospital

Requirements:
•Board Certification: Required. ABIM. Interventional Cardiology
•License Required: Active WI license required, not open to licensing
•Certifications Required: BLS and ACLS
•Minimum Experience Required: 1-3 years

•Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days

• ASAP Start
• 3 month on going contract
• WI license
