Non-Invasive Cardiologist Needed in WI | Full-time (Block Scheduling) | Competitive Pay

Coverage Details: MD 7 on and 7 off
This position would be a blend of clinic and Inpatient Service Model. M-F would be clinic. Clinic start is 815-330. 15min follow up appointment with 30 min consults. Focus will be consults. Inclusive weekend Saturday 700 start time – ends when all patients seen and rounded on. On call until 600pm. Sunday combination of rounding and call. If the rounding physician: day ends when all patients seen and rounded on. If the call person – they would take call until 600am on Monday. The expectation is one week night of call and one weekend night of call with some reading expectations.

Frequency of any Call needed: One NOC weeknight call and one NOC weekend call per 7-day block.
Start and End Date: 11/1/2026 - 1/1/2028
Schedule Details: (start / end times, days of the week, etc): a. Week would start Monday at 700am in the department with team meeting and prep for the day. There are 3 APP rounding with the physician M-F. This would be the inpatient rounding service model. The day ends between 4-5 once all pt’s have been seen-rounded on. The coverage is until 6pm when the night call starts. Work week ends the following Monday at 0600. The inclusive weekend Saturday 700 start time – ends when all patients seen and rounded on. On call until 600pm. Sunday combination of rounding and call. If the rounding provider: day ends when all patients seen and rounded on. If the call person – they would take call until 600am on Monday. The expectation is one week night of call and one weekend night of call with some echo reading expectations.

Work Details:
Support staff: Inpatient service model is completed with 1 physician and 3 APPs. Intensivists, RNs, and cardiac imaging technicians are also available.
Department Description: General cardiology inpatient service model with ECHO and EKG interpretation/readings. Provider will round with the APP team.
Patient Volume: Inpatient volume fluctuates from approximately 7-22 patients per day.
Patient Age Group: Adults only
EMR/Documentation System: EPIC
Special Procedures/Unit Details: General/non-invasive cardiology, including chest pain/ACS, heart failure management, hypertension/dyslipidemia, atrial fibrillation/other arrhythmias, valve disease, EKG interpretation, stress testing (treadmill, nuclear, and echo), echocardiogram interpretation, and Holter/event monitor interpretation.
