Interventional Radiology NP Needed in MD

Location: Spring, MD

Start: September

13 week assignment

Details
7:30 - 4pm monday - friday

Work Details:
• Support staff: 2 RN’s
• Amount of coverage needed per month: Full-time
• Patients per day: varies, but would need to assess and review consults, talk to hospitalists to ascertain appropriateness for procedure. Enter orders for pre procedure, post procedure and discharge. Ensure patient can consent, H&P is in the chart etc.
• Patient population/age: adult only 20-90
• Department description: Interventional Radiology provider support
• EMR: Cerner
• Hospital bed size: 280
• Special procedures: Typical procedures are para's, thora's, embolization's, ports, permcaths, IVC filters etc
• Skills required: Ability to follow protocols regarding readiness for procedure, complete H&P's, write orders pre op and discharge.

Practice Setting:
• Hospital

Requirements:
• Board Certification: required
• State license required: Yes, will not license even for IMLC
• DEA: required
• CSR: required
• Certifications preferred:
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS

Credentialing Timeframe: 45-90 days
