This inpatient facility maintains established clinical protocols and the infrastructure necessary to support on-site vascular and interventional radiology coverage. The facility is structured to accommodate locum tenens clinicians delivering general IR services and cerebral embolectomy with moderate sedation within an inpatient setting. Clinical operations are conducted entirely on-site in support of the interventional radiology service line.

About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide 100% on-site inpatient interventional radiology coverage during day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with overnight pager call responsibilities at a 1:2 call ratio. Procedural responsibilities include general interventional radiology procedures and cerebral embolectomy with moderate sedation; aneurysm management is not a component of this assignment. An expected volume of 10 cases per day on weekdays and 6 cases per day on weekends is anticipated. A minimum commitment of 2 weeks per month is preferred, and board certification is required for all clinicians considered for this assignment.
