Interventional Radiology – Weekend Call Coverage

Job description

Schedule: Friday 5:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM
Coverage Type: 24-Hour Weekend Call
Call Frequency: 1:3 Rotation
Start: Ongoing Need
Credentialing: Approximately 60 Days
Licensure: Active Missouri License Required (IMLC Accepted)


Work Details

Patient Population: Adults (18+)

Patient Volume: Typically 1–4 procedures per weekend

Support Staff: 2 technologists and 1 nurse on call with physician

Department Equipment:

Siemens single-plane Angio suite

Ultrasound procedure room

Fluoroscopy procedure room

Required Skill Set

Provider must be comfortable performing essentially all non-neuro emergent IR procedures, including:

Trauma embolization

TIPS

GI bleed interventions

Full scope of emergent non-neuro IR procedures

Requirements

Board Certified in Interventional Radiology

Active Missouri License (Required – no licensing offered)

IMLC Accepted

BLS & ACLS Required

DEA Required

• Ongoing
• Trauma embolization, TIPS, GI bleeds. Provider should be able to perform essentially all non-neuro emergent procedures covered by IR physicians.
• IMLC accepted
