✅ Qualifications
✔️ Active Louisiana RN license
✔️ BLS certification required
✔️ Minimum 1 year of L&D or acute care experience required
✔️ Skilled in fetal monitoring, IV medication administration, and epidural support
✔️ Strong communication, calm under pressure, and compassionate bedside manner

✅ Key Responsibilities
✔️ Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery
✔️ Interpret fetal heart rate patterns and maternal vital signs
✔️ Assist physicians or midwives during normal and cesarean deliveries
✔️ Provide education, coaching, and emotional support to patients and families
✔️ Manage pain control methods and labor support techniques
✔️ Provide immediate newborn stabilization and transition care
✔️ Respond quickly to obstetric emergencies and complications
✔️ Maintain accurate EMR documentation throughout care process
