Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician – Locum Tenens

Job description

Seeking a fellowship-trained, board-certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician for scheduled clinical coverage with weekday and weekend call responsibilities.

Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Weeknight beeper call
- 24-hour weekend beeper call
- Scheduled clinical hours plus call coverage

Responsibilities
- Inpatient and outpatient Maternal-Fetal Medicine care
- High-risk obstetric consultations and management
- Maternal-fetal assessments and ultrasound services
- Collaboration with obstetric, anesthesia, and neonatal teams
- Weeknight and weekend call coverage by beeper

Requirements
- Board certification required
- Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship required
- Active Alaska medical license required
- DEA required
- BLS and ACLS required
- Strong ultrasound skills required
- Epic experience preferred

Credentialing
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60–90 days
- One physician needed for coverage from January 2027 through January 2028.
