Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician | Locum Tenens Opportunity | New York City, New York

A leading healthcare system in New York City, New York is seeking a Board-Certified Maternal-Fetal Medicine Physician for a locum tenens assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to provide specialized care for high-risk pregnancies in a collaborative clinical environment while working alongside experienced Obstetrics teams.

Opportunity Details
Location: New York City, New York
Practice Setting: Outpatient Clinic
Schedule: Two clinic days per week
Clinic Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Call Coverage: Possible call requirements
Start Date: Upon Credentialing
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
EMR: To Be Determined
Board Certification: Required
License Requirement: Active New York State Medical License

Clinical Responsibilities
The incoming physician will provide comprehensive Maternal-Fetal Medicine services, including:
High-Risk Pregnancy Management
Consultation and evaluation of high-risk obstetric patients
Co-management of complex pregnancies with referring OB/GYN physicians
Support for complicated Labor & Delivery cases as needed
Development of individualized treatment plans for maternal and fetal conditions
Diagnostic & Procedural Services
First, second, and third trimester ultrasounds
Advanced fetal imaging and prenatal diagnostics
Fetal growth assessments
Non-Stress Tests (NSTs)
Biophysical Profiles (BPPs)
Amniocentesis and Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS), as applicable

Types of Cases
Providers should be comfortable managing:
Chronic and gestational hypertension
Pre-existing and gestational diabetes
Multiple gestations
Placenta accreta spectrum disorders
Preterm labor and preterm birth risk
Complex maternal medical conditions
Fetal abnormalities and other high-risk pregnancy concerns
Ideal Candidate
Board Certified in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
Active New York State medical license
Experienced in advanced obstetric imaging and fetal diagnostics
Comfortable performing diagnostic procedures and managing high-risk pregnancies
Strong collaborator with Obstetrics, Labor & Delivery, and multidisciplinary care teams
