Job description

We are seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine physician for an ongoing locum opportunity in York, PA. This is a clinic-based role focused on high-risk pregnancy consultation and ultrasound interpretation within a well-supported environment.

Position Highlights
Setting: Outpatient clinic
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Start Date: ASAP Start
Contract Length: Ongoing
Coverage: Full-time preferred, open to 1 week per month

Clinical Scope
Ultrasound performance and interpretation (including Level II targeted and echocardiography)
High-risk pregnancy consultation
Management of complex maternal conditions including:
Pregnancy-induced hypertension and HELLP syndrome
Type I, Type II, and gestational diabetes
Cardiac, pulmonary, renal, neurological, and autoimmune disorders
Hematologic and oncologic conditions
Placenta previa and abruption
Multiple gestation
Amniocentesis and genetic procedures

Active PA License preferred
BLS Certification required
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine

Support Staff: 2 RNs, 2 MAs, 2 APPs
Patient Volume: Approximately 25 patients per day
Department: 10-bed unit, Level III pediatric designation
EMR: Epic
90 days to credential
