This 477-bed acute care hospital provides specialized maternal-fetal medicine services in an inpatient setting, supporting comprehensive care for high-risk obstetric cases. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and appropriate resources to support structured MFM on-call coverage throughout each assigned period. Dedicated support staff, including a laborist and CNM, are in place to facilitate clinical operations.

The area offers clinicians on assignment access to a walkable downtown district anchored by a scenic waterfall park, where the river flows over tiers of quartzite, alongside historic sites including a restored 1889 Queen Anne-style home and an 1800s quartzite building housing regional history exhibits. The broader region extends into the Black Hills and Badlands, where landmarks such as Mount Rushmore National Memorial, the historic town of Deadwood, and Custer State Park are accessible. About the clinician's workday

Clinicians will provide maternal-fetal medicine inpatient on-call coverage on a 24-hour shift basis, with no clinic coverage required. The clinician is not required to remain on-site but must be available to respond within 20 minutes when called. Call coverage is a required component of this assignment, and continuous availability is expected throughout each designated coverage period. Support staff on site includes a laborist and CNM to facilitate day-to-day clinical operations.
