The facility focuses on cancer genetics, high-risk patient management, and precision oncology initiatives, offering cutting-edge genetic screening programs and counseling services.
Opportunity:
Physician - Medical Genetics
Job Details:
• Provide clinic-only coverage 3 days per week from 8am-5pm with no call responsibilities
• Handle 8-10 patient encounters per shift with guaranteed 8 hours per day
• Conduct 60-minute new patient appointments and 30-minute follow-up visits
• Focus on cancer and high-risk cancer patient populations (adults only)
• Provide pre and post-test genetic counseling services
• Manage tumor-based genetic screening programs
• Support prevention and precision oncology initiatives
• Recent volume includes 288 new patients and 509 total visits in last 12 months
• No procedures required - clinic-based genetic consultation only
• Coverage needed for 3-6 months for provider on leave
• Must maintain active Oregon license and Oregon DEA (preferred)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency required
• BLS certification required
• Hospital privileges not required but payor enrollment paperwork will be needed
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
