Genetics Physician – Locums

Job description

We are seeking a Genetics Physician for a locums assignment in Oregon starting May 1, 2026, with a 3–6 month duration to provide coverage for a provider on leave.

Schedule:
3 days per week
8:00am–5:00pm (clinic only, no call)
60-minute new visits / 30-minute follow-ups

Practice Details:
Outpatient genetics clinic (adult population)
8–10 patients per day
EMR: EPIC
Support staff: 1 MA + 1 office staff
No other genetic counselors onsite

Clinical Focus:
Cancer genetics & high-risk patient populations
Pre- and post-test genetic counseling
Tumor-based genetic screening programs
High-risk patient management
Prevention and precision oncology initiatives

Requirements:
Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3–5 years)
Active Oregon license
Oregon DEA
BLS certification
