Metabolic Geneticist Needed in Richmond - Will license!!

Anticipated Start Date: May 4th, 2026
Contract Length: 6 months to 1 year
Shift Details: Clinic plus call coverage
Schedule: 1 week per month - Monday (all day clinic), Tuesday (1/2-day clinic), Thursday (all day clinic), all other days and each night will be call. Plus some telehealth coverage.

Work Details:
· Support staff: 2 other physicians and a PA
Exact schedule is TBD upon start
Patients per day: 1-2 per day
· Patient population/age: all ages – newborn to end of life
· Department description:
· EMR: EPIC
· Hospital bed size: 865 total beds
· Special procedures and skills required: Must have Metabolic experience

Practice Setting:
· Hospital - Academic/Training

Requirements:
· Board Certification: Board Certified in Metabolic/Obesity Medicine OR Boarded in Genetics that has an extensive knowledge/experience of Metabolic
· State license required: VA license required – will license
· DEA: required
· Certifications preferred:
· Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS

• 1 week per month
• Some telehealth coverage
• 6 month to 1 year contract!
