Locums Radiation Oncology NP/PA Needed in San Francisco, CA

Job description

Contract Length: 6 mo
Shift Details: M-F 5x8
Schedule: no weekends no call – generally closed on holidays
Work Details:
• Support staff: RNs, Mas, Attendings
• Patients per day: variable, 6-8/patients scheduled per day
• Department description: Most volume is in breast and GU oncology. GU oncology makes up most of the patient population
• Attending providers do new patient consults
• APPs do follow ups, symptom management, long term follow up care & any emergent add on support. APP is first line of contact for escalation
• Follow up or emergent issues
• Provider will need to manage in basket
• EMR: Epic
• Special procedures: no procedures
• Skills required: ideal providers will have strong tech capabilities, strong Epic skills, organized

Requirements:
• License required: CA
• DEA: yes, CA DEA with Schedule 2 required
• Certifications required: BLS
• Minimum experience required:
At least 2-3 years recent NP Oncology experience required
Ambulatory/outpatient onc exp would be preferred, but will also consider inpatient onc exp
Rad onc experience preferred, not required
Academic medical center exp strongly preferred
