San Francisco, CA | Outpatient Neuro Oncology APP

Job description

* Start: September/October
* Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
* No nights, weekends, or holidays
* Mix of in-person and virtual visits (provider must be onsite for virtual appointments)
* Ongoing assignment
* EMR: Epic

Practice Details:

* Academic outpatient Neuro Oncology clinic
* Adult patient population
* Average of 7–10 patients per day
* Dedicated support team including 1 attending physician, 2 RNs, and 1 practice coordinator
* Opportunity to perform lumbar punctures and shunt checks/reprogramming if qualified

Requirements:

* Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (approved NP certifications required)
* Active California NP license (facility is not licensing at this time)
* California DEA with Schedule II/2N
* AHA BLS required
* ONS certification preferred
* Adult Neuro Oncology experience strongly preferred
* Adult Oncology, Infusion Center, or Neurosurgery experience will be considered
* Inpatient and outpatient oncology experience accepted

Credentialing:

* Approximately 60 days
