**Surgical Oncology Thoracic APP Opportunity – San Francisco, CA**

Assignment Details

- Start Date: January 2027
- Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts per week, 7 AM–7 PM
- Availability: Full-time only; no part-time
- Setting: Outpatient Thoracic Surgery Clinic
- Patient Population: Adults
- EMR: Epic
- Credentialing: Approximately 60 days

Clinical Responsibilities

- Independently manage outpatient clinic alongside the surgical team
- Work with an RN for clinic support
- Provide care primarily to thoracic oncology patients
- Perform drain removals, wound care, and incision care
- Must be proficient in an outpatient surgical setting

Requirements

- Board-certified NP with an eligible adult or acute care certification
- Active California license
- California DEA
- AHA BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of outpatient surgical oncology or thoracic surgery experience
- University medical center experience strongly preferred
