Opportunity:
Advanced Practitioners - Other Specialties - Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Job Details:
- Provide value-based care in an ambulatory setting within the East Region, including Norwich and Waterford practices
- Involved in triage and the full spectrum of outpatient oncology management
- Conduct benign hematology visits and sick/urgent visits
- Perform chemotherapy education and teach visits
- Perform bone marrow aspirations
- Oversee infusion follow-up appointments and ongoing survivorship care
- Assist in building a comprehensive cancer program
- Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week
- Access to professional advancement and training opportunities through a unique relationship with Memorial Sloan Kettering
- Access to Provider Leadership Development Institute
- Eligibility to be licensed in Connecticut as a Physician Assistant (PA) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) is required
- Certification as a PA, or National Board Certification as an FNP, ANP, or AGPCNP is required
- Chemotherapy Biotherapy provider card required
- Oncology experience as a PA, NP, or RN is preferred
